Day with the divine....

Volunteers have decorated so nicely..... Creativity can be expressed in any form.....
Today morning when people were DEEP into SLEEP, we went DEEP into OURSELVES....
After a gap of one whole week, had a chance to bath from within.... and the Guru Knowledge which we got was amazing....
WHATEVER WE SEE IN A DREAM, IS A DREAM.... ITS NOT REAL.... EVEN IF IT'S REAL... DEN WAT? NOW IT'S REAL.... ACCEPT IT.... THIS IS HOW IT IS NOW..... GO WITH IT..... IT CAN'T CHANGE...... EVEN LIFE MAY BE A DREAM... 'OR' DREAM OF A DREAM.....WE CAN ONLY BE PREPARED FOR AN ACTION.... IF IT HAPPENS, WE CAN'T RUN AWAY....

Few lines of learning

Today, i read these lines in one of my friends profile... it touched me.......

What is the difference between a river and a flooded field?
....when the water flows outside its bank, it is a flood. but when water flows within its banks, it is a river.....when ur emotions get flooded everywhere, the mind is in a mess...but when emotions flow intensely in one direction, that is bhakti and that is more powerful......... :) :D
JAI GURUDEV!!!
Be ever new... Happy you!!

Only an HOur... and Shake up ur life..

Today, after a very long time, i took out some time out of my studies and went for a aol session... The day was going as usual with my late mornings, until wen prateek came to meet me. After a quite gud time, we sat and discussed about the upcoming events , that i came to know about today's volunteers session wid the world renowned, one and only ANAND RAJENDRAN. The name itself makes the event special. So after knowing about the session, i went for bath and finished my work till it was half passed five in the evening. We went for the session. I was quite friendly with the space at the venue. It was nearly 11 months ago, that i attended one more session with the "lion master" in Jan. That session had a gr8 impact on everyone. I expected everything to happen as it had before. This expectation of mine was broken as and wen, I opened my eyes and dere stood in front of me.... "need not to mention"... The session was JHAK... JHAK... JHAKAAS...!!!!!! Now, i can guarantee, if u attend 'n' no. of sessions wid the man.... he will always give you the best you need at that time.... His lines were amazing!!!

Effect of rhythmic breathing (Sudarshan Kriya and Pranayam) on immune functions and tobacco addiction.

Stress, a psychophysiological process, acts through the immune-neuroendocrine axis and affects cellular processes of body and immune functions, leading to disease states including cancer. Stress is also linked to the habit of tobacco consumption and substance abuse, which in turn also leads to diseases. Sudarshan Kriya (SK) and Pranayam (P), rhythmic breathing processes, are known to reduce stress and improve immune functions. Cancer patients who had completed their standard therapy were studied. SK and P increased natural killer (NK) cells significantly (P <0.001) at 12 and 24 weeks of the practice compared to baseline. Increase in NK cells at 24 weeks was significant (P <0.05) compared to controls. There was no effect on T-cell subsets after SK and P either in the study group or among controls. SK and P helped to control the tobacco habit in 21% of individuals who were followed up to 6 months of practice. We conclude that the inexpensive and easy to learn and practice breathing processes (SK and P) in this study demonstrated an increase in NK cells and a reduction in tobacco consumption. When confirmed in large and randomized studies, this result could mean that the regular practice of SK and P might reduce the incidence and progression of cancer.
